Kellariteatteri is one of Helsinki’s three “university theatres” Which is a league of artistic theatre activity situating between the amateur and professional levels. Most of it see it as an enrichment to their everyday life or a stepping stone to further their career advancement goals. Me myself, gathered important experiences which helped me develop my abilities and perspective on who I am as a designer.

Costumes with a carbon footprint of zero
Havina Jäntti and me were collaborating to realize this challenge, because for both of us it was a matter of heart to move away from fast fashion and the throwaway-culture of the textile sector. In order to accomplish that we received low quality textiles from the Helsinki region recycling centers. From them we received their trash textiles - which were according to their standards unfit for resale.
But our world was a post apocalyptic one, so we frankensteined all our costumes together for that Mad Max look and tuned all accessories from unusual materials to give it that uncanny valley look.
